This talk will present a brief history of Zope and describe current and future development projects for Zope. The rational for and major features of Zope 3 will be described. The talk will describe the evolution of the Zope development process. Plans for future Zope 2 and Zope 3 releases will be discussed. The new "Goldegg" project to create a common content-management infrastructure for Zope 3 will be described. Interesting short- term developements, including IsarSprint projects will be presented.
